Dear PKU Family and Friends:

Please join us for our 2nd PKU Cruise to the Western Caribbean on July 31, 2004 for seven nights on the brand NEW Caribbean Princess making her Inaugural sailing in April of 2004. Last years cruise to Halifax was so enjoyable (except for the weather) that we decided to go for a full week next year.

The ship is over 119,000 tons and carries 3,000 passengers. It has a Dive-In Movie Theatre (first of its kind on a cruise ship), which will be showing movies and sporting events on deck in the evening. There is a wonderful large children's program with a separate teen center. Three show lounges, a disco 16 decks above the ocean, paddle tennis and basketball court, large casino, golf simulator and 9-hole putting green, Internet Café, 4 freshwater pools and the all important spa and gym.

There will be PKU food available at breakfast and dinner each day in the dining room only. We found last year that there was so much that could be eaten for lunch off the buffet that few people went to the dining room and thus there was much waste. Each night at dinner there is one low protein dinner item (pasta, etc.) in addition to what can be eaten from the menu (i.e. baked potatoes, steamed vegetables, salads, etc.). Princess has personal choice dining - dining whenever you like and also traditional main and second seating dining. We will be seated at the traditional main seating due to the food preparation. All of the staterooms have a small refrigerator (mini-bar size). You will need to supply PKU snacks (cookies, pretzels, etc.).

I have enclosed all of the pricing information and registration form. I have ordered some brochures of the ship - but it will not have the itinerary posted until the new Caribbean brochures for next year are available. Princess does have a web site www.princess.com but there is no information on the Caribbean Princess available yet. The sister ship is the Star Princess and this will give you an idea of the cabins and layout. This cruise can only be booked through my office because of the low protein food involved. Princess does not supply nor pay for the food items and I need to coordinate the amount that is necessary, purchase and have the food shipped to the cruise line.

A final note, Princess limits the amount of children under the age of 18 on each sailing and once the limit is met they will not allow any additional passengers regardless of whether we have a group or not. So please don't wait too long to decide so you won't be disappointed. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (800)506-7447 or (610)341-1979. My e-mail address is patby@aol.com.

Hope you can join us!
